If you haven’t seen it there are basically two doors, one marked ‘beautiful’ and the other ‘average’.

Ladies were asked to walk through the appropriate one for them. It’s so sad watching so many gorgeous ladies struggling with the decision and even sadder to watch those who just head straight for ‘average’ door without even thinking about it.

We really need to see our self worth in life, beauty isn’t measured by your hair style, the clothes you wear or the shape of your body,  it comes from the inside out.   As the great Audrey Hepburn once said ‘For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone’.

We style hundreds of women, and too often we see people putting themselves and their body down. We have many tear jerking moments when our clients get some more confidence and self love, we see them light up from the inside out…it’s the reason we do our jobs.

So ladies, be your own best friend and love the skin you are given…you have it for a long time, so celebrate it, enjoy it and become your own cheer squad.

Wouldn’t we all like to look a little younger?

OK, so we all know there are five tricks to remaining youthful…

1. 8 hours of sleep
2. 5 portions of veggies everyday
3. A session at the gym
4. 2 litres of water
5. Meditation

…but let’s face it – for those of us who juggle working, family and a social life, that’s just not going to happen every day!

I can normally tick two or three off the hit list, but never them all… and even if I did,  I am sure a bottle of shiraz and a bar of Green and Blacks has probably set me back!!
